Lillies

I had an idea of painting a series of large scale paintings with lillies - á la Van Gogh's sunflowers - and stretched a large canvas for the first one. This is just a small study I did first for what I had in mind, but it's unfinished. I'm not sure whether it was the subject, the handling, or the composition, but my inspiration went cold and I got bored. You can't win them all. Doing background research now for our next trip to Chile. Hope to get my mojo back there!
